How it works

How to make an AI rap video in 3 steps

Turn a photo into a rap video without filming anything. The Create button shows the credit price before you spend it.

  1. 1

    Upload two photos

Add one clear, front-facing photo per person, or one shared shot of both. JPG, PNG and WEBP up to 20 MB work. The left person leads and the right person backs up.

  2. 2

Pick a scene and a model

Choose Hotel Lobby, Luxury Lobby, Studio Booth or Street Cypher. Use Wan 3.0 on Hotel Lobby with your own track, or Seedance 2.5 for AI-written bars on any scene. Set the shape to 9:16.

  3. 3

    Create, download, post

Press Create. Seedance renders usually finish in 2 to 5 minutes and Wan 3.0 in 5 to 15. Download the clip and post it. If the render fails, the credits come back.

Two models

Wan 3.0 vs Seedance 2.5 for rap videos

Each model unlocks different options in the studio, so the choice is about what you want to bring.

Wan 3.0 runs on the Hotel Lobby scene only. In return it accepts your own audio: upload an MP3 or WAV up to 50 MB, pick a 2 to 15 second section, and the lead voice performs it. It can also keep the sound of a move clip you upload. It has no AI-written rap.

Seedance 2.5 runs on all four scenes and writes the bars for you from a topic of 3 to 120 characters. It reaches 480p, 720p and 1080p, lengths up to 30 seconds, and a 21:9 shape that Wan 3.0 does not offer.

Speed and cost differ as well. The studio estimates 2 to 5 minutes for Seedance and 5 to 15 for Wan 3.0, because Wan queues longer. For a 12-second video, Wan 3.0 costs 6 credits at 480p, 10 at 720p and 20 at 1080p. Seedance 2.5 costs 17, 37 and 93.

Pick Wan 3.0 when the words are yours and the scene is Hotel Lobby. Pick Seedance 2.5 for a different scene, AI lyrics or a 1080p final. Seedance Mini, Fast and 2.0 cost less than 2.5 at every resolution. On both models, one clear, front-facing face per photo gives the steadiest result.

Scenes

Four scenes, and what each one suits

The scene sets the room around your two faces. Faces and outfits come from your photos, only the set changes.

Hotel Lobby is the default and the only scene that works with Wan 3.0, so it is also the only one where you can use your own track. The other three run on Seedance. Choose by the mood of the clip you want to post, not by model.

Other ways to do it

AI rap video vs face swap, music generators and filming it yourself

Four ways to get a rap video of yourself. They solve different problems.

Face swap

A face swap needs a source video. You find a clip of someone rapping and paste your face onto it. The scene, the moves and the body belong to somebody else. Here nothing is pasted: a video model generates a new clip from your photos and a scene description, so there is no source clip to find or credit.

Music-only generators

An AI song generator gives you audio. You still need a video, and syncing lips to the track is your job. In this studio the voice and the mouth movement come out of the same render, and on Wan 3.0 you can bring your own verses.

Filming it yourself

Filming is the most authentic option and the slowest. You need two people in one place, a decent mic, a set that looks right and the nerve to rap on camera. An AI rap video takes a few minutes of waiting, but it is a generated performance of your photos, not you rapping.

Which one to use

Use a face swap when you want one specific existing clip. Use a music generator when you only need a track. Film it when the real performance is the point. Use an AI rap video when you want a fast, vertical clip from photos you already have.

Examples

Two example clips and their specs

What went in and what came out, so you can judge the result yourself.

  • Friends on one stage

Two friends rapping together. Output: 12 seconds, 9:16, 480 by 854 pixels.

  • A couple, one shared photo

Input: a single photo with both people. Output: 12 seconds, 9:16, 480 by 854 pixels.

Both files are the 480p tier at 12 seconds. That tier costs 6 credits on Wan 3.0 and 17 on Seedance 2.5. Play them with sound on and watch whether the faces stay stable when the heads turn.

Free and pricing

Free to try, then pay per video

Credits pay for renders. You see the price before you create.

Opening the studio, adding photos and checking the price costs nothing. A render uses credits, and the Create button shows the total before you start.

Credit packs start at $6.99 for 10 credits, enough for a 12-second 720p video on Wan 3.0. Monthly plans start at $29.90 for 100 credits. Packs never expire. Paid renders are HD with no watermark, and credits for a failed render come back automatically.

FAQ

AI rap video generator FAQ

Price, photos, models, formats and refunds.

Is the AI rap video generator free?

You can open the studio, add photos and see the exact credit price for free. Rendering a video uses credits, shown on the Create button before you start. Credit packs start at $6.99 for 10 credits, which covers a 12-second 720p video on Wan 3.0. Paid renders have no watermark.

Do I need two photos, or can I use one?

Use either two photos, one per person, or one shared photo that shows both people. The left person leads and the right person backs up. The duet is built around two performers, so crop a group shot down to two. The Effects tab animates a single picture.

How long does it take to generate a rap video?

Seedance models usually finish in 2 to 5 minutes. Wan 3.0 usually takes 5 to 15 minutes because it queues longer. The Create button shows an estimate for the model you picked. A 12-second 480p draft is the cheapest way to test a pair of photos.

What's the difference between Wan 3.0 and Seedance 2.5?

Wan 3.0 runs on the Hotel Lobby scene only and accepts your own MP3 or WAV track, with renders of 5 to 15 minutes. Seedance 2.5 runs on all four scenes, writes lyrics from a topic, reaches 1080p and 30 seconds, and usually finishes in 2 to 5 minutes. It costs more credits.

Can I use pet photos or a group photo?

You can upload any JPG, PNG or WEBP. The studio is built for two performers with one clear, front-facing face each, so a pet with a clear face may work, and a group photo should be cropped to two. In a shared photo, the person on the left leads and the right one backs up.

Is this a face swap?

No. A face swap pastes your face onto an existing video. Here a video model generates a new clip from your photos and a scene description, and it is told to keep faces and outfits matching the photos. There is no source clip behind it. The Move clip option only copies body movement.

What resolution and aspect ratio do I get?

Choose 480p, 720p or 1080p. Wan 3.0 and Seedance 2.5 both reach 1080p. Shapes are 9:16, 16:9, 1:1, 3:4 and 4:3, plus 21:9 on Seedance. Pick 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. At 480p a 9:16 video measures 480 by 854 pixels. Lengths run 5 to 15 seconds, and Seedance 2.5 adds 20 and 30.

What happens if the render fails?

Credits for a failed generation are returned to your balance automatically, so a failed render costs nothing. Temporary provider errors are retried first, and the refund happens when the task is finally marked as failed. You can then adjust the photos or settings and create again.
